E.DSO and GEODE have today jointly issued a press release following the adoption of the report Electricity Grids: The Backbone of the EU Energy System by the ITRE Committee.
The associations warmly welcome the Committee’s decision, as it demonstrates strong support for increased investment in and the development of Europe’s electricity infrastructure.
While certain aspects of the report could still be further improved, it effectively underscores the key priorities for Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and provides a solid foundation for the forthcoming Grids Package.
