E.DSO is back for its 2nd FutureGrid Innovation Summit in Brussels on 11 February 2026!
Distribution System Operators (DSOs) play a central role in driving and implementing innovation in the energy sector, contributing to the development of a more cost-effective, electrified, and digitalised energy system. E.DSO FutureGrid Innovation Summit provides a valuable platform for an impactful dialogue and strategic knowledge exchange on the latest advancements in the energy transition, driving progress toward the 2030 climate goals and beyond. The timing of the Summit is especially significant, as it aligns with a pivotal moment in the evolving policy landscape, marked by the release of the European Grids Package proposal by the end of 2025.
Our annual gathering will also spotlight cutting-edge technologies and pioneering EU-funded projects that are driving innovative solutions to advance the energy transition. Building on the success of the previous edition, the event convenes a high-level audience of over 200 participants, ranging from industry leaders and company executives to representatives from associations, EU institutions, project consortia, NGOs, and Member States.
As part of the Summit, the E.DSO 3rd Digital and Innovation Award will recognise outstanding and relevant start-ups contributing to the reshaping of DSO’s roles. The call will be launched soon.
