Facilitating a cost-efficient energy transition with smarter grids – A call to EU Energy and Environment ministers
The European Institutions are gearing up for delivering revised RES, energy efficiency, and market design directives during the next semester. In view of the the informal Energy and Environment Ministers meeting on 12-13 July, where these topics will be discussed, EDSO reminds policy-makers that the decarbonisation objectives set by the European Union will only be met with the support of a smart energy infrastructure.
