The DSO faced a significant challenge due to the lack the practical skills necessary for the industry, after education, especially in light of the evolving needs of the industry, in the context of smart grids and energy transition. This results in longer onboarding times, and less efficient integration of new employees. The DSO implemented a Dual Engineering Apprenticeship Program. This program allows university students to work with the company during their academic journey, gaining company-specific technical training and hands-on experience in parallel with their studies.
