E-REDES is leveraging its smart metering and smart grid infrastructure to detect low-voltage faults proactively and, in many cases, before customers call. By correlating events from DTCs, smart meters, and modems, the company developed algorithms that filter, validate, and combine thousands of daily signals into meaningful outage alarms. These intelligent alarms distinguish between individual customer faults, LV circuit outages, and substation-level interruptions, giving dispatch operators early and accurate visibility.
