The energy transition depends on distribution grids that can integrate renewables, manage growing demand, and support electrification across mobility, heating, and industry. To meet Europe’s climate and competitiveness goals, electricity distribution system operators (DSOs) must plan, invest, and deliver at a pace that matches Europe’s political ambition, with the coming years being decisive for implementing adopted legislation and shaping the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
